Modern living in the mountains
In February 2019 this modern mountain style, 3 bed, 3100 sq ft primary residence won the Residential Wood Design category at the Wood Works Alberta 11th Annual Prairie Wood Design Awards. The Awards recognise design excellence, advocacy and innovation through the use of wood in construction projects. Wood products used are locally sourced, architecturally appealing and sophisticated.
We were delighted to work on this award winning home and proud that it allowed us to embrace our sustainable ethic while paying homage to exceptional design. We cut, stained and installed 6660 ft of Douglas Fir and larch including blocker boards where rafters extended to the exterior.
